Well said, Vince! Why is it that Labour or Tory cannot speak with such honesty and in an open and sincere way, I wonder!?!

If you were running a business like Labour are running Great Britain Limited, you'd be out of business pretty quick, and the line of credit would soon be withdrawn. Why? Just look, what assets in manufacturing have we left to trade out of the current deficit with, everyone can't be working in a service industry, which of course is why the sales forecsast doesn't support the spending, so line of credit would be withdrawn if we were a business. There is no fairness being offered in the upcoming budget and I am angry that bankers can wriggle out of joining the responsibilities of the rest of society, and don't seem to have to play by the rules we play by. They got us in this mess they must join in the pain. The one excuse for not being harsh on the bonus culture that is being used is making the UK financial sector non competitive, well that's easy to fix: make a global cap on bonuses then there is no change in competitiveness between the UK and anywhere else. This is one prime example where letting market forces prevail through lack of enforcement of even enforceable existing regulation has failed bitterly. I can't really see what's changed in the way the financial sector is actually regulated and behaves to stop it all happening again, clearly the greed culture is still very much in evidence. Its time to change the unfair tax system as all that's being trotted out by Labour and the Tories is (yawn) more of the same. What really seems strange is the core voters for Labour should be the lower paid for which labour champion the cause, the Tories are of course just not interested in a fairer society so now it seems its left to the Liberal Democrats to fight their corner.
