Is Freedom served by Killing Foxes?

Is it right to claim that civil liberties are infringed when I can't kill a fox from horseback with hounds in the country when I couldn't do so in the towns. What is the difference between dog-fighting and fox-hunting. Is neither cruel, or are both?

Enabling access for all to enjoy the countryside

Having lived much of my life in the country and valued the calm and peace of the area I am convinced that peoples quality of life could be improved by enabling them to access the countryside. There are however a number of challenges as the paths that are in existence tend to be overgrown and are not maintained. Wheelchairs and mothers with buggies etc are at a great disadvantage. Finding suitable areas to either park your car or that have public transport links can be a problem. How can we…See More

What type of Society do we want to build?I want a society where every person is of value and enabled to fulfill their potential. A society where the strong protect the weak, where the older generation are viewed as a valuable resource rather than a drain on the economy.A society that enables women to choose to develop a family life with their children if that is what they wish to do and provides a framework that enables that choice. I too have a touch of asberges, though not too severe, thats on top of other things wit the athritic, asthma, diabeties and a touch of epylepsy. My motto dispite of all that don't give in! Infact with not being in work I have taught myself basic computer skills and become a rather prefficiant amature photographer ove the years. Got quite a bit of my work in folders on Facebook in hope someone might pick up my tallent and beable to help me turn some of my work into calenders and greetings cards to wean myself off the benifits all together! Thats one of my dreams anyway to be self suficiant!

Must admit I do prefer Lynn-Marie to just Lynn... Been a Lib-Dem all my voting life, I'm one of the disabled members, so at the moment feeling battered and bruised mentally by the threat of whats goin on with the disability benifits! Just guess its scary to think how many disabled people are going to have to try make life on the streets if the moneys are reduced, yet our bills are constantly going up making it a struggle to get by as it is.
