Hello Steve, thanks for adding me as a friend. The last few weeks have been amazing for British Politics. I am positive that the Coalition will be an opportunity for some much needed togetherness. I have been involved in social justice for many years so am very concerned that the news to reassess ALL incapacity benefit claimants and not NEW claimants as suggested pre-election will cause much stress and probably achieve little. I just hope the government will look not just at one's ability to work but also the sustainability of employment. Disabilities such as mental disorders and poor mobility often deteriorate over time, making work consistence very difficult. I hope by going to the conference in the Autumn I can find reassurance that such vulnerable people will be protected. So what is your bug bear, do you have issues close to your heart?
