So sorry that I didn't see your message earlier. I must say that I totally agree with your point below. Have just been listening to a programme on Climate Change and Sceptics and wherever you are coming from we really must stop using so many non renewable resources
Whether or not you 'believe' in Global Warming and Climate Change, (since when did science become a religion?), one thing remains crystal clear. The society that we live in, the civilisation that we have built, is 95% dependant on fossil fuels - a finite resource. Now, as I've said before, the International Energy Agency (a body that advises Governments on energy resources) have stated that oil production has plateaued, and that 'there is no prospect of growth in oil production in the forseeable future.' What this means is that if an economy is entirely dependant on oil, (which western most economies are) they will not grow, because there will be no increase in the oil supply to support it. So, it's renewable energy or death to the recovery.
