Did anyone else go to the 'Nick Clegg Meetss...' event in Eastbourne last night? He was defeinitely good value and an impressive public meeting speaker. The surprising thing was in all the public questions he invited no one raised the issue of bankers bonuses.
Am I the only one who is outraged by the 'business as usual' mentallity, self-congratulation and award of mega bonuses in banking?
I don't actually have the words to express my anger, particularly at RBS for blackmailing the government for their bonuses when they have been the cause of so much hardship in the country and continue to be so.
How is it the media takes up public outrage at politicians' misuse in the thousands, but there seems little pressure on bankers for taking us all for a ride in the millions?
