ENGAGE aims to open up the policy process – by facilitating two-way exchanges between the wider membership and those involved in formal policy-making. We'd love to hear from you about how you'd like us to do this.
This group is established to galvanise opposition to the current vicious attack on the rights of the disabled by the Government using ATOS "Work Capability Assessments" to re-classify genuinely disabled individuals as "fit for work".
Why should age act as a barrier to those with a genuine interest in the way our country is run? End the disenfranchisement of teenagers throughout Britain who have been denied the opportunity to have a say on how our country is governed.
Youth and student wing of the Liberal Democrats, representing the interests of all members aged 26 and under, and everyone registered as a student. We campaign, train members, run events, recruit new members and develop policy, amongst other things!
Hello Jacob, my name is Raymond, and I am just catching up with all the new ACT members, before I start watching, thankfully, the last day of our conference!
I have been signed up for few months now and have joined a few of our groups, left a few comments, and have managed to get 3 blogs approved for my page.
Two of the blogs refer to Cameron and the coalition and a few days ago I posted an August Update of these blogs on Comments of my own page.
More recently I also posted a comment with an alternative proposal to the semi-privatise of the Royal Mail on my own page and the Liberal Democrat Co-operators page.
I would be grateful, if you have any spare time, if you visit my page. I also expect there will be many other comments and new debates after the conference which you may find interesting.
Of course you are at no obligation to read any of it, but if you do I would be grateful for your comments regardless of them being positive, negative, confusing or creative!
