A plain, empty text box?
My, that just seems like an invitation to waffle.
So, I'll keep it short.

When I was a kid, and I watched John Major go 'back to basics' on TV, and I asked my Dad about politics, he said that MP's were intelligent, important people who knew what was best for the country.
When I grew up, I realised that those words couldn't have been further from the truth.
Governments spinning intelligence and lying to parliament? MP's fiddling the books? Toff's refusing to travel Economy Class at the taxpayers expense - of course, we are a 'different kind of people' - thanks to Nicholas Winterton for that last one.
It's made me realise that MP's aren't necessarily intelligent - many are just rich.
They're not necessarily important - although an MP who considers themself important is a loser in my book.
And what's most clear to me is that the current government, and the main opposition have NO idea what's best for the country.
Dad used to say that 'if you think you can do it better - get off your arse and do it'.
That's precisely what I plan to do.
I stopped listening to my Dad shortly after that, when he started denouncing ethnic minorities and claiming that Queers wanted to spread AIDS, but the wise words were nice while they lasted!
