Hello David,

Thank you for your welcome message. I've met Hazel Thorpe - I lived in Hgh Street Tarring and she was a few doors down from me - but I've yet to meet James Doyle. Hope to find an opportunity to do so soon. I'll go and find the Sussex band and join them. Travel a great deal on business and have not been in town recently, except at weekends. Been busy advising various government depts on strategic communications, of all things! :-D

Pity no one is running in Wealden district! Last time LD gave them a good showing but this time it could have been better. Certainly amongst my circle we are all tired of the old boys club!
