Yes, but when are we going to realise that our policy on Student Grants is threatening to destroy all our hopes of achieving PR! Hopefully, not the day before the referendum but NOW!! - and DO something about it!!

@Ian

Sorry for not getting back sooner, my 3 year old daughter fell off a bunk bed last week, knocked herself out and broke her arm. I missed a couple of days off work so I've been in catch up mode ever since.

The ERS will be organising various activities such as joining marches, writing letters to MPs, meeting local constituencies, writing to papers, distributing flyers etc. If you have any free time at all you can contribute what you want to because a lot of the work will be computer based. Moral support is just as important though and if you are not sure if you can contribute at the moment joining one of the local groups would be useful. Unless you are a coordinator which does require an agreed effort, any other participant will be expected to contribute anything they can or nothing if they can't :-) I hope this answers your question but if not please post back and I'll do what I can to clarify further. Cheers, Dave

Please add comments positive comments - don't let the idiots who can see no further than party politics fill the page with stupid comments. There are a lot of us, if we take 5 minutes each we can fill the page up :-)

Hiya

Do any of the members of this group want to get involved with the Electoral Reform Society campaign which will be getting into motion later this year. If you do then please either post back here or e-mail me directly on davethawley@yahoo.co.uk. The geographic structure of the organisation is currently being decided upon and we are just at the start of the campaign so it is a really good time to get involved.

If you know of anyone else who may be interested please pass my details on to them.

Cheers, Dave

James

Is there a relationship between power2010 and the electoral reform society ? They seem to be pushing on the same door which is great so I was just wondering if they were linked in any way other than ideals ? Cheers, Dave
