The official 'Yes to Fairer Votes' campaign will be launching all over the county on 5th/6th November. We're planning a local launch in Exeter on 6th November and need lots of people to turn out, wearing purple to show their support. Email devonfairervotes@gmail.com for more details or to get involved in other ways with this essential campaign.

For anyone in the Exeter/Mid Devon/North Devon area, TBP have a campaign planning meeting on Monday 6th September in Exeter at 7.30pm. Details here: http://takebackparliament.ning.com/events/mid-and-north-devon-group
We had almost 30 people at our first meeting last week, it would be great to get even more.

I have only recently joined this page and sent off my form to join the Liberal Democrats Party, as I have in the past few years become very interested in politics and having read some of the Liberal Democrats manifesto, Have decided they best represent my political views, I also going to start doing a politics degree this year in October. It would be nice to get to know other Lib Dems in the South West area and in Weston-Super-Mare.

I was disapointed that the Lib Dems lost in our constituency (Tiverton and Honiton) and am furious that our share of the votes went up by 1% and we lost 5 seats!

Good for Andy Merryfield...these facists get far too much publicity already, far more than their support warrants.

There is a hustings on Sunday the 2nd May @3pm in Wells Town hall. 5 of the 6 PPC's will be attending, only BNP are not coming (Apparently Labours Andy Merryfield refused to debate with them)

It's first come first served and usually packed. It's being run by connect centre which is run by an ex Conservative activist so don't expect a fair set of questions. I've submitted 3 questions I don't expect one that is openly critical of Amory to be asked. Tesa could probably use your support.
