Autumn Conference registration form is now available on Lib Dem Act and the South Central Region website.

Mansion House Tax proposal should stay at £1000000 BECAUSE the current council tax system is based on property (house ) prices as at April ! 1991 !! Yes 1991 not 2009 .The current top band is band H for houses over £320000 in 1991 so if we added band I for houses worth over £1000000 with a 50% surcharge to band H it would reasonably fair wouldn't it ? I should know I sit on the Valuation Tribunal which trys to sort out the current outdated mess.
