I was shocked to hear that OFSTEAD does not inspect RE lessons in faith schools.
In the Muslim school featured the biology teacher seemed pleased that none of her pupils accepted evolution - and some of those wanted to be doctors.
The whole idea of putting labels on people ( "a catholic child" ) rather than treating them as individuals seems deeply illiberal.
