Lib Dem Act

Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby for me, although it tends to be a bit of a bugger to get hold of up here. My everyday drink is Abbeydale Moonshine.

Oooooo OP is yummy! Om nom nom.
I think my all-time favourite may be Milton Marcus Aurelius, which I've only ever had at the Pembury Tavern in London, but my current everyday drink is Young's London Ale. In warmer weather, I tend to go for Fuller's Honeydew or London Pride.
Currently I'd say Copper Dragon's Golden Pippin, I prefer lighter beers such as IPAs to darker beers
Nice pint of Tim Taylor's Landlord or Golden Best, though it's harder to come across down here than back home. Probably end up drinking more Young's ordinary than anything else these days.
Flower Pots Perridge Pale.

I was worried a few years ago when the Flower Pots pub in Cheriton fell out with their brewers and stopped brewing. But the brewers set up their own brewery (Bowman) and the Flower Pots got some new brewers in who after a rather shaky start are now turning out consistently good beer, and the Perridge Pale in particular is stunning (if you like golden ales). So now we've got two great local brewers where there used to be one.

Other favourites: Bowman Elderado, Oak leaf Hole Hearted. Dark Star Hophead. Surrey Hills Shere Drop. Ringwood 4X porter (the only Ringwood beer worth bothering with really, unlike the other brewerys listed where I'd happily drink almost anything they make)

If I have to pick some that aren't more-or-less local: Theakston Wainwright, Consiton Bluebird, Jennings Cumberland.
My new favourite is 'Rudolph the Red-nosed White Horse Beer' from those lovely people at the White Horse Brewery.

Got to be Harveys from just up the road in Lewes. Maybe if I have a few pints I'll get my photo up the right way!
Sharp's Doom Bar (http://www.sharpsbrewery.co.uk/our-beers/doombar/) is arguably the finest beer in cornwall although it has a fair ammount of competition, also has a great history behind the name.
I'd agree with the Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby although I've never had it anywhere but the Beacon Hotel. for me normally it's anything dark, malty, not too hoppy with a nice liquorice taste mixed in with some burnt oats. So it's generally porters and Stouts with the odd mild thrown in.
Currently I'd go for Rhymney Dark or Cairngorm Blessed Thistle.
There are so many good beers to choose from, but I've got to say Deuchars IPA is near the top!
JHB from the Oakham brewery is lovely. I do enjoy a nice pint of Summer Lightening from the Hop Back brewery.
