Comment by Gordon Bain on April 8, 2011 at 20:20 Dear all,
Just a quick reminder that we'll be going out canvassing again in Kilwinning tomorrow and on Sunday from 10 am until tea time. The meeting point is in the car park to the rear of Tesco.
If you can't make it for the start, but can spare some time later on, then please give me a call on 07503 490087 and we'll tell you where to meet up with us.
Lunch will be provided if you stay all day!

Firstly let me apologise for not keeping you up-to-date on what has been going on here.We have been updating our local party website, Facebook and Twitter pages not realising that some of our local members were checking here for updates as well. However a few people have mentioned the ACT website so I'll post our local news on here for everyone to see.
Thanks

Comment by Nicola Jane Prigg on January 6, 2011 at 13:48 Surely in order to get people voting LibDem we need more people campaigning on the ground. I live in Ayr but i'm studying in Salford at the moment but will be back at Easter & after May. We need to start building a proper team.
Are any LibDems helping with the re-opening of the Gaiety in Ayr Town centre?
Comment by Allan MacBain on January 6, 2011 at 10:53 We have some Lib-Dems *in* South Ayrshire; we do not, currently, have a separate branch.
Me, I live in Prestwick.
We did some leafleting, and had posters up, during the General Election campaign last year; that's the first *real* campaigning the Lib-Dems have done in Ayr/Prestwick/the-rest-of-South-Ayrshire in some years, unfortunately.

Comment by Nicola Jane Prigg on January 6, 2011 at 0:56 How much LibDem campaigning is there in the actual town of Ayr and Prestwick?
Should we build a bigger better team in the Ayrshire Central & Ayr, Carrick & Cumnock constituencies.
