By Yasmin Walji "Extremely simple, because I find those are the most effective posters. funky graphics are all well and good for showing off, but when you're trying to get a message across - less is more! the quote and four 'fairer' things are from the video of nick clegg speaking about four steps to a fairer britain."

AK: Hard hitting. I hope

Best wishes to all fellow Lefties! I'm new here and I apologise if I'm posting in the wrong place. I've recently opened a small shirt shop and hope to pursue a line of clothing which speaks out our political views in a clear and stylish manner in order to raise the profile and awareness of things like Trident being brushed under the carpet. I'd appreciate any help/advice on reaching a wider audience. Thanks. The Shop

Good afternoon Christopher. I'm so pleased that you find my post helpful. I'll have a look too - we could be OK but it is best to check this out.

Good Wednesday morning, Rebekah, and thanks for contributing helpfully.

Our 40+yo son, Damian, creates radio and audio ads for a living, often by writing "SoundAlike" music to over-ride copyright difficulties when clients do not want to pay the often v.v. high prices asked by copyright holders, but favour certain music.

Don't think AV A Go, Joe is subject to copyright but I'll check - Wilfred Pickles was an especially shrewd (ie., tight) businessman who may have left any inherent copyright in his estate, and their lawyers may not think twice about living up to their well-known moniker, Sue, Grabbit & Run (winks - that's from Private Eye in the 1960s).

Christopher - how about doing the whole phrase from Wilfred & Mabel Pickles "AV a Go, Joe" ........

Kathryn - Your poster is very clever - I like it!

Posted first on PR or Nothing Comment Wall.

Two suggestions for stickers/badges which could do with attention from a Graphic Designer to be sent to Lib Dem Image & ALDC:

The football supporters' mantra - 'AV' IT

and the Lib Dem preferences: "ME for STV" or "STV for ME"

Or for really decrepit old wireless-educated fogeys such as me, the Wilfred and Mabel Pickles favourite: "'AV' A GO"

I'll post this on Marketing & Creatives as well, Rhiannon.

i know election day has come and gone but i only just found act and was loving this design brief. Please excuse the scrappy look of my design thought it would be nice to show nick clegg "building" the fairer britain as he always seems to me like someone who wouldnt be scared of rolling his sleeves up and getting hands on , as i think the present situation is proving
